Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Clerks Recruitment - November 2011

Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd, Thoothukudi, Tamilnadu is inviting applications for the recruitment of candidates for the posts of Clerks at TMB. Tamilnadu Mercantile Bank is one of the oldest banks in Tamil Nadu and India. The TMB has announced Clerks Recruitment Project 2011 for requirements in its branches across the state. Following are details of vacancies, eligibility and application procedure:

Qualification and eligibility: Candidates should be Graduates in Arts and Science and Engineering. Arts and Science category students should have 50 percent marks. Engineering Graduated need at least 55 percent marks. Post Graduates also can apply. All the candidates should have knowledge in Computer Operations. Applicants age must be 24 years for Graduates and 26 years for Post Graduates. Age relaxations apply. 

Selection of the candidates will be based on written examination to be held at Chennai, Salem, Thoothukudi, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Mumbai and Delhi centres. The written examination will consists of objective type multiple choice questions. Those qualified in written test will be called for an interview. Fee should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd. Payable at Thoothukudi / Tuticorin.

Selected candidates will be on probation at a Branch / Office of TMB for one year. Salary during probation will be approximately is Rs. 13,200/- per month.. After that they will get a scale of Rs. 7200- 20100. Last date for the filing of Online e-Application is 28th November 2011.
