APGENCO JPA Recruitment Supplementary Notification 2011

Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGENCO), Govt. of Andhra Pradesh has issued supplementary notification for the recruitment of candidates for the posts of Junior Plant Assistants (JPAs). 1755 Vacancies are available in various districts, according to the new notification. Out of these, 1086 are in old notification and 669 posts are added to the supplementary notification. Selected candidates will be appointed as Junior Plant Attendants (JPA) in various districts of Andhra Pradesh in the pay scale of Rs.9520- 250- 10520 -325 -12145 -400- 14145 -485 -16085. These are district cadre posts and selected candidates will be posted in power generation stations of APGENCO located in the districts.

Educational Qualifications: Applicants must have SSLC/ SSC/ 10th Class with ITI in Electrician/ Fitter/ Machinist/ Wireman/ Welder/ Turner/ Mechanic (Diesel)/ Instrument Mechanic/ Draughtsman (Mechanical)/ 2-Years Vocational Course in Electrician Trade as on the stipulated date. Age must be between 18-35 years.

Reserved candidates and Local Scheduled Tribes have to produce Community Certificate and Agency Area Certificate at appropriate time of the recruitment. The candidates are hereby informed that the procedure prescribed for selection of JPAs in the Supplemental Notification shall mutatis - mutandis apply to the candidates who already applied in response to the first Notification issued on 05th January 2011.
Candidates must apply online only. They have to pay registration fee Rs. 150 in any AP Online Center / AP online portal (www.aponline.gov.in) before proceeding with online application. Model/ Previous question papers of APGENCO - JPA written exam will be made available soon on this blog.
