Central Bank of India, Mumbai a leading Public Sector Bank in India has announced recruitment notification for the posts of Specialist Officers such as Law Officers, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Security Officers, Agriculture Finance Officers and I T Officers in Specialist Category Officers in various Scales. There are 557 vacancies in total. Candidates have to apply online only through official website of the Bank at www.centralbankofindia.co.in. Following are details of posts, eligibility and application procedure: 1) IT Officer Specialist JMG Scale-I: 70 posts; Eligibility: Applicants should have B.E. / B.Tech or M.Sc. or equivalent Degree in Computer Science or Communication or Electronics with Computer Science as one of the subjects. Candidates with MCS or MCA are also eligible. 2) Agriculture Finance Officer Specialist JMG Scale-I: 400 posts; Eligibility: Candidates should have a Degree in Agriculture/ Fishery Science/ Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Horticulture / Agricultural Engineering/ Dairy Science/ Pisciculture/ Agri Marketing and Cooperation. 3) Rajbhasha Adhikari Specialist JMG Scale-I: 20 posts; Qualifications: Applicants should have a minimum 2nd class post
Graduate Degree in Hindi and must have studied English as a subject in graduation. Candidates with PG in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as a subject in Graduation are also eligible. Candidates should have at least 2 years experience in translation in a full time post. 4) Law Officer Specialist MMG Scale-II: 34 posts; Eligibility: Candidates should have a Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) with at least 50 percent marks. Applicants with Post Graduate Degree in Law (LLM) are preferable. Candidates with CAIIB / MBA also will be considered. All the applicants should have at least 5 years of experience. 5) Security Officer Specialist MMG Scale-II: 33 posts; Eligibility: Applicants should be an officer with at least 5 years commissioned service in the Army/ Navy/ Air Force or a Police Officer not below a rank of Asstt. S.P. / Deputy S.P. with minimum 5 years service. Selection will be based on the performance in Written Test and / or Group Discussions and Interview depending on the number of applications. Written exam consists of 125 questions for 100 marks. Duration is 125 minutes. Questions will be given from Reasoning, General Awareness, English and Area of Specialization.
