CRPF Constables Trade - Technical Recruitment Notification 2011( Southern Sector Hyderabad )

Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Southern Sector, Hyderabad has announced recruitment notification for the posts of Constables (Male and Female) in the Southern Sector states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra and Gujarat. Selected candidates will be appointed as Constables (Trade and Technical) in CRPF in the pay scale of Pay Band-1 Rs. 5200 – 20,200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- . Following are details of vacancies, eligibility and application procedure:

1) Andhra Pradesh - 175
2) Karnataka - 124 posts
3) Tamilnadu - 149 posts
4) Kerala - 67 posts
5) Maharashtra - 198 posts
6) Gujarat - 104 posts

Eligibility and educational qualification: Applicants should have Matriculation or its equivalent qualification. Along with that, candidates should have following technical qualifications: 

1) Post of Constable (Fitter): Should have passed Motor Vehicle Fitter Course (Automobiles) / Motor Mechanic Course from ITI along with one year experience. Wards of CRPF personnel with ITI qualification are exempted from experience.
2) For post of CT (Driver): Applicants should possess 'Transport Vehicle' driving license and pass the driving test at the time of recruitment. 
3) For post of CT (Bugler/ Tailor/ Cobbler/ Carpenter / Gardener/ Painter/ Pipe Band/ Brass Band/ Cook/ Water Carrier / Safai Karmachari / Barber/ Washer man): Applicants should have good working knowledge of trade in which he / she wishes to be enlisted. Applicants age should be between 18 - 23 Years as on 01st August 2011. Selection Process: Selection of the candidates will be based on the written tests and technical / trade test. The written examination will be of 100 marks consisting of two parts: 
1) Part-I: Questions based on 10th Class and for Part-II, questions related to knowledge of the Trade.
2) Part-I: Question Paper will consist of 50 objective type questions. Each question carries 1 mark each. Questions will be on General awareness / general knowledge, knowledge of elementary mathematics, analytical aptitude, ability to observe and distinguish patterns and basic knowledge of the candidates in English / Hindi. The duration of the Written Test is 2 hours.
