AP Teachers Recruitment Notification for Urdu SGT Jobs 2011

Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced notification for the posts of Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT) in Urdu Language in Schools in Andhra Pradesh. This is a backlog limited recruitment. There are 323 vacancies available across the state for various categories. Selection of the candidates will be based on performance in Written examination and AP TET scores. This is the first recruitment in Andhra Pradesh being taken up after TET examination cam into force. Following are details of vacancies, eligibility and application procedure:

SGT (URDU) in AP Government Urdu Medium Schools: 323 posts (BC-115, SC-138, ST- 70); 

Eligibility: Applicants should have qualified in SSC / 10th class in Urdu medium. They should have studied Urdu subject at Intermediate and Degree levels. Candidates should have D.Ed. Certificate along with TET (Paper-1) Score. Applicable test score for BC candidates is 50 percent, for SC and ST candidates - 40 percent. Applicants age should be between 18 - 44 years. 

Interested candidates can obtain application forms from District Educational Officers of the respective districts. Cost of application is Rs. 200. Last date for the receipt of completed applications is 19th November 2011. Date of Written Examination is 11th December 2011. More details can be obtained from http://www.dseap.gov.in/. 

Candidates can expect more teacher recruitments from Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. The Government is contemplating to recruit thousands of teachers in the coming months as part of its employment drive.
