AP Police Constables - Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Recruitment - November 2011

The Police Recruitment Board, Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced recruitment notification 2011 for the posts of Constables and Firemen in various departments and police services. Eligible male and female candidates can apply for the following vacancies as prescribed in the original notification. There are 20429 police constable posts in total and following are details of vacancies in various categories such as SCT, AR, SAR CPL, APSP and Civil:

1) Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constables (Civil) (Men) in Police Department: 8413 posts
2) Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constables (AR) (Men) in Police Department: 3234 posts
3) Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constables (APSP) (Men) in Police Department: 4270 posts
4) Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constables (SAR CPL) (Men) in Police Department: 93 posts
5) Constables (Men) in Special Protection Force (SPF) Department: 645 posts
6) Firemen in AP Fire and Emergency Services Department: 704 posts
7) Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constables (Civil) (Women) in Police Department: 2976 posts
8) Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constables (AR) (Women) in Police Department: 94 posts

Eligibility and Qualification: Applicants should have Intermediate or its equivalent examination as on 1st July 2011. SC and ST candidates need at least pass in 10th Class / SSC or its equivalent examination and should have appeared for the Intermediate Examinations in both the 1st and 2 year course. The candidates with higher qualifications also will be considered.

Selection and application procedure: Selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in physical tests, events such as running race, high jump, long jump, shot put, written examination and medical test etc. Interested candidates can download application forms from the official website of the Board of Examination at www.apstatepolice.org . Completed application forms along with all the necessary copies of certificates should be sent to the relevant address on or before 28th December 2011. Details of previous question papers and model papers may also available on the official website or other websites such as sakshieducation.com, eenaduprathibha.net etc.
