South Indian Bank Probationary Officers Recruitment Notification 2011

The South Indian Bank Limited, Thrissur, Kerala is inviting applications for the posts of Probationary Officers (Scale I) in the pay scale of Rs.14,500 – 25,700. Candidates will also get maximum Rs.70,000/- per annum as incentives. Candidates with at least one year of work experience in Scheduled Commercial Banks in the Scale 1 / Officer Cadre can apply. The period of probation for selected candidates is for one year. Confirmation of appointment shall be subject to satisfactory performance the candidate. Those joined in the Bank as Probationary Officers (Scale I) are eligible for promotion to Manager’s cadre (Scale II) after 3 years of active service that includes probation period. Following are details of vacancies, eligibility and application procedure:

Probationary Officers (Scale I): 60 posts; Qualification: Applicants should have Graduation under 10+2+3 pattern in regular stream with at least 60 percent marks for qualifying degree in Science stream or 55 percent marks for other streams. Age should not be more than 28 years and not less than 21 years as on 31st August 2011. Age relaxations apply as per the rules. Selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in Group discussion and interviews.
