Powergrid Executive Trainees - Electrical Recruitment 2011 through GATE 2012 Scores

Powergrid Corporation of India Private Limited, Gurgaon has announced recruitment notification 2011 with Advt.No.03 / 2011 for the posts of Executive Trainees (Electrical - 17th Batch). Selection will be through GATE 2012 ranks / scores for which examination will be held on 12th February 2012. Powergrid is a Government of India Enterprise with business interests in planning, supervision and control of inter state transmission system and operation of national and regional power grids. Following are details of vacancies, eligibility and application procedure:

Executive Trainees (Electrical) - Eligibility and Qualification: Applicants should be Full Time B.E./ B.Tech / B.Sc (Engineering) Graduates in the specializations of Electrical / Electrical and Electronics / Power Engineering or AMIE in Electrical with at least 65 percent marks. Selected candidates will get Rs.24900 - 50500 as pay scale. Candidates must be appearing in the GATE-2012 examination with Electrical Engineering paper. Age should be below 28 years as on 31st December 2011.

The online application link will be active from 04th January 2012 to 15th February 2012 at the above mentioned website. Selected candidates will get a compensation of Rs. 6.6 lakhs per annum during training. They will be eligible for Rs. 12.09 lakhs per annum after training. 

The selection process will consist of GATE - 2012 score, group discussion and personal interview. Candidates will have to appear for the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper of GATE Examination 2012. Candidates will be short listed for Group Discussion and Personal Interview based on their score in GATE Examination 2012. Candidates should note that GATE 2011 scores are not valid for this recruitment.
