National Thermal Power Limited (NTPC) has announced recruitment notification 2011 for the posts Diploma Trainees in the branches of Mechanical, Electrical, Control and Instrumentation and Civil Engineering. Selected candidates will have to work at NTPC project locations in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan under the National Capital Region of NTPC Limited. 7) NCR (National Capital Region): 2 posts (Mechanical - 14, Electrical -4, Control and Instrumentation - 3, Civil Engineering - 3) Eligibility Requirements for Diploma Engineer Trainee: Applicants should have Diploma in Engineering with at least 70 percent marks in Electrical / Electrical and Electronics / Mechanical/ Civil/ Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering. Selected candidates will get a stipend of Rs.15500/- per month for one year and they will be absorbed in the pay scale of Rs.15500 - 3% - 34500 after successful completion of the training. Selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in written examination which consists of two parts. Part-I of the written test will be Knowledge Test. It will consist of 70 multiple choice questions of the relevant 4 disciplines as mentioned in the notification. Part-II of the question paper will be Aptitude Test and will consist of 50 multiple choice questions on English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning.
