Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has announced recruitment notification 2011 for the posts of Primary Teachers

Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has announced recruitment notification 2011 for the posts of Primary Teachers along with teachers in languages such as Urdu, Tamil, Bengali and also requires Teachers for Nursery classes. All the vacancies will be filled on contract basis only for a fixed tenure. Selected candidates will be posted in the schools functioning under the purview of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). There are 1619 posts in total and the division of vacancies, eligibility requirements and application procedure is mentioned below:

1. Primary Teacher: 1370 posts (Zonal wise vacancies: Central zone: 325; Civil Line zone: 174; Shahdara North: 392; Shahdara South zone: 162; Karol bagh zone: 105; South zone: 175; Sadar Pahadganj zone: 12; City zone: 25).

2. Primary Teacher Urdu: 23 posts (Zonal wise vacancies: City zone : 6; South zone : 2; Shahdara North : 4; Karol Bagh zone : 4; Najafgarh zone : 4; Rohini zone : 3).

3. Primary Teacher Tamil: 01 post
4. Primary Teacher Bengali: 10 posts
5. Teacher (Nursery): 215 posts for Female Only (Zonal wise vacancies: Sadar Pahadganj zone : 24; Central zone : 32; Najafgarh zone : 15; Shahdara North : 42; Shahdara South zone : 6; Civil Line zone : 12; Karol bagh zone : 6; South zone : 16; City zone : 5; Narela zone : 20; Rohini zone : 20; West zone : 17)
6. Labour Welfare Superintendent in Labour Welfare Dept: 10 posts.
