IOCL-Indian Oil Recruitment of Graduate Engineers through GATE 2012

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has announced recruitment notification for the posts of Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs) to be recruited through GATE 2012 scores. There are 225 Engineers vacancies in the disciplines of from Chemical, Instrumentation, Electrical, Civil, Computer Science and Information Technology, Mechanical and Metallurgical Branches. The present recruitment for Graduate Engineers positions will be based on Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2012) scores. All the interested candidates should appear for GATE 2012 in order to apply for the vacancies in IOCL. Short listing of candidates for interviews and tests if any will be completely based on GATE scores. IOCL has clarified that GATE 2011 scores are not valid for this recruitment. Selected candidates will get a starting salary of Rs. 24900 (Basic) and DA along with other permissible allowances per month.

Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must have passed in BE / B.Tech in the branches of Chemical, Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Metallurgical Branches with at least 65 percent marks. Candidates should have pursued the qualifying degree in regular full time mode only. Distance / correspondence candidates are not eligible. Those in final year of their qualifying degree may also apply but they should produce the proofs as prescribed by the company. Age must be below 26 years as on 30th June 2012. Age relaxations in marks and age apply for reserved candidates as per the rules of the company.
