Uttarakhand Public Service Commission Recruitment Notification 2011

Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has issued recruitment notification 2011 for the posts of Junior Engineers (JEs) to work in the departments of PWD, Irrigation and Minot irrigation. There are about 778 vacancies in various branches / specialisations. Following are division of vacancies and number of posts along with application procedure:

1) Public Works Division (PWD) Lok Nirman Vibhag: 304 posts (Civil Engineering: 241; Electrical: 13; Mechanical: 50)
2) Irrigation Department (Sinchai Vibhag): 425 posts (Civil Engineering: 367; Mechanical Engineering: 58)
3) Minor Irrigation / Irrigation Department (Laghu Sinchai/ Sinchai Vibhag): 49 vacancies (Agriculture: 46, Civil: 02; Mechanical: 01.)

Selection of the candidates will be based on the cumulative performance in written examination and interview. syllabus for written examination for various specialisations is available on the website of UKPSC ukpsc.gov.in .

Educational Qualification and eligibility: Applicants should have Diploma of three years duration / Bachelor of Engineering in the relevant specialisation or branch.
