Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination Notification 2011 for the posts of Data Entry Operators (DEOs) and Lower Division Clerks (LDCs). The SSC has restructured the examinations last year and formulated this examination through mixing Combined Matric Level exam and Data Entry Operators Examination. The Commission will conduct Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination (CHSLE - 2011) for the fill up of Data Entry Operators and Lower Division Clerks. This is an excellent opportunity for 10+2 candidates to settle early in career with a Central Government job. Following are details of pay scales, selection procedure and application process: 1) Data Entry Operators (DEOs): Pay scale of Rs 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2400/-
2) Lower Division Clerks (LDCs): Pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1900/-Eligibility and Selection Procedure: Applicants should have passed in Intermediate / 12th Class / 10+2 / Higher Secondary Exam or any of its equivalent. Selection of the candidates will be based on performance in two stages of examination. The pattern of these examinations is described below: 1. Written examination: This will be a Multiple Choice Objective Type examination.
2. Skill Test in Data Entry / Typing on Computer: Candidates have to pass in this examination with prescribed speed. This test will be administered on computer only. Application Fee and Procedure: Candidates can apply online at http://ssconline.nic.in/ . Applicants have to pay Rs .100 as application fee through State Bank of India (SBI) by Challan / on-line payment. No fee is required for SC, ST, Women, PH and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
