EdCIL (India) Limited has issued recruitment notification 2011 for the posts of Senior Consultants and Consultants to work in National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT) purely on contract basis. Engagement of Senior Consultants / Consultants will be on full time basis and selected candidates will be posted in New Delhi. Applicants should have excellent knowledge of Information and Communication Technology. Initial contract will be up to 31st march 2012. Working professionals will be considered on deputation terms. Following are details of vacancies, eligibility and application procedure:

1. Senior Consultants: 4 posts (Vacancies are available in the areas of Engineering, Social Sciences, Sciences, Biological Sciences, Economics / Commerce, Management). Approximate salary will be up to Rs.75,000/- per month. Qualifications: Applicants should have M. Tech or M.Sc. or Post Graduate Degree in relevant area . Candidates with Ph.D. will be preferred. Candidates should have at least 20 years experience in monitoring and reviewing of projects or research. Age should be below 55 years.

2) Consultants: 3 posts; Vacancies are available in the areas of Social Sciences, Sciences, Engineering, Economics / Commerce, Biological Sciences and Management; Approximate salary is Rs.26,000 - 44,200/- per month. Qualifications: Applicants should have M. Tech or M.Sc. or Post Graduate Degree in relevant specialisation. They should have at least 10 years experience in teaching , monitoring and reviewing of projects. Age should be below 50 years
