Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Ranipet (Tamilnadu) has announced recruitment advertisement 2011 for the posts of Artisans in the trades of Fitter, Welder, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Electronics Mechanic, Material Handling Operator and Mill Right Mechanic. BHEL - Ranipet is one of the manufacturing units of BHEL, a premier Navaratna company established by Govt. of India for the engineering needs of the country. The company is recruiting 180 artisans in the following trades:

1) Fitter: 98 posts; Qualification: NTC + NAC in Fitter
2) Welder: 56 posts; Qualification: NTC + NAC in Welder
3) Electrician: 06 posts; Qualification: NTC + NAC in Electrician
4) Material Handling Operator: 11 posts; Qualification: NTC + NAC in Motor Mechanic
5) Instrument Mechanic: 03 posts; Qualification: NTC + NAC in Instrument Mechanic
6) Mill Wright Mechanic: 03 posts; Qualification: NTC + NAC in Mill Wright Mechanic
7) Electronics Mechanic: 03 posts; Qualification: NTC + NAC in Electronics Mechanic

Applicants age should be below 27 years as on 1st September 2011. Candidates with SSLC / Matric and who possess at least 60 percent marks in both NTC and NAC for general, OBC candidates and minimum 55 percent marks for SC/ ST candidates can apply.
