WASSAN is working towards bringing a qualitative change in development through watershed based programs in India. The organisation is concentrating on providing capacity building and support services for development initiatives in the areas of natural resources management. Following are details of positions, contract period, eligibility and application procedure:

1) Project Officer (Ground Water): Place of work is Parigi, Ranga Reddy District, A.P (80 kms from Hyderabad). Required qualifications: Graduation and/ or Post-Graduation in Geology with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in groundwater management, preferably in civil society organizations. Candidates should have core skills / competencies such as Good interpersonal communication, Working in multidisciplinary team, Documentation skills, Knowledge in Computers (Microsoft Office), Participatory Training Methods and Participatory Rural Appraisal, Conducting trainings and workshops. Initial contract will be for six months and likely to be extended by one and half years. Salary is Rs.10,000/- to Rs.15,000/- per month based on qualification and experience. 

2) Project Officer (Documentation): Place of work is Parigi, Ranga Reddy District, A.P (80 kms from Hyderabad). Qualification: Post - Graduation in any discipline along with at least 3 to 5 years experience in documentation and developing communication material. Candidates should have core skills and competencies in Documentation tools and concepts, analytical thinking, working in multidisciplinary team along with Computer knowledge (MS-Office, Page Maker, PhotoShop etc). They should be able to Read, Write and Speak in Telugu and English. Salary will be between Rs.15,000/- to Rs.25,000/- per month based on qualification and experience. Initial contract is for six months and will be extended for one and half year.

IBPS-CWE Supplementary Exam for POs and MTs 2011

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), Mumbai has issued Supplementary Examination notification for those who were not able to write the IBPS Common Written Examination (CWE) for Probationary Officers / Management Trainees in 19 PSU Banks conducted on 18th September 2011. Interested candidates can now apply for the Supplementary Examination of IBPS. Candidates who approached the exam venues without any of the following documents can appear for IBPS supplementary examination:

1) Call letter with photograph affixed thereon 2) Original fee payment receipt (NEFT receipt/e-receipt) 3) Original photo-identity proof 4) Photocopy of photo-identity proof. All the candidates without these documents were disallowed to appear for the examination on 18th September 2011. Since this was the first Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS, the board has decided to give one more chance to the candidates by conducting a Supplementary Examination only for those candidates on 13th November 2011.
