APGVB Hanamkonda Officers, Office Assistants Recruitment - July 2011

Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank (APGVB), Hanamkonda, Warangal district is inviting applications for the posts of Officer Scale I, Officer Scale II, Officer Scale III and Office Assistants (Multipurpose). Interested candidates should apply online only through Bank's official website at www.apgvb.in . Selection of the candidates for all the vacancies will be based on the performance in written examination and interview. Following are details of vacancies, eligibility and application procedure:

1) Officer Scale -I: 140 posts (SC-21, ST-11, OBC-38, General-70). Eligibility: Applicants should have Bachelor Degree in any discipline. Applicants should have Proficiency in Telugu and knowledge of English is a desirable qualification. Candidates also need computer skills.

2) Officer Scale- II: 61 posts (SC-9, ST-5, OBC-16, General-31). Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have Bachelors degree in the concerned discipline / subject. Vacancies are available for B.Tech / BE Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology / CA / Law / MBA (Finance / Marketing Graduates).

3) Officer Scale - III: 8 posts; Eligibility: Candidates should have Degree in any discipline with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate along with minimum 5 years experience. Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree / Diploma in Banking, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Finance, Agriculture, Information Technology, Management, Pisciculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Marketing, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Law, Economics and Accountancy. 

4) Office Assistants (Multi purpose): 272 posts; Eligibility: Candidates should have Bachelor's Degree in any discipline along with knowledge of computer skills. They should be proficient in Telugu.

Candidates have to download Fee Challan from the website www.apgvbank.in and pay the fee at APGVB or SBI. The list of branches of APGVB are available on the website. Fee is Rs. 1000 for Officer Scale II and Scale III and Rs. 550 for Officer Scale I and Rs. 300 for Office Assistants post for General and OBC candidates. SC/ ST/ PC candidates have to pay Rs. 100 only for postage charges.

Following are details of written examination. Written test contains 200 questions for 200 marks. English is only a qualifying examination and will not be considered for final selection. Duration of the test is 150 minutes. Written Test consists of following sections and marks:

1. Reasoning Ability: 50 questions - 50 marks
2. Quantitative Aptitude / Numerical Ability: 50 questions - 50 marks
3. General Awareness / Financial Awareness: 50 questions - 50 marks
4. English Language: 50 questions - 50 marks
