Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Barauni Refinery, Bihar issued recruitment notification 2011 for the posts of Junior Engineering Assistants / Trainees. Candidates age should be between 18 - 26 years as on 321st July 2011. IOCL is a Govt. of India undertaking with business interested in oil exploration, refinery and marketing. Trainees will get a monthly consolidated stipend of Rs. 11,000/-. After completion of training period, they will get Salary grade – IV in the scale of pay of Rs.11900 - 32000/- . Following are details of vacancies, eligibility and application procedure:

1) Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production) / Trainee : 10 posts (UR-05, SC-02, OBC-03); Qualification: Applicants should have B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry, and Maths) or Diploma in Chemical Engineering. Candidates should have 55 percent marks in Aggregate in Physics, Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry and Maths during B Sc Or Diploma in Chemical Engineering along with minimum one year experience for regular scale of pay. For Trainees, candidates should have 60 percent marks in Aggregate in Physics, Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry and Maths during B.Sc or Diploma in Chemical Engineering. No experience is required for trainees.

2) Junior Engineering Assistant - IV (P and U) - Boiler : 1 post (UR-1); Qualifications: Applicants should have Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering OR should have B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Maths). Candidates with Matric + ITI in any Trade and 2nd Class Boiler Competency Certificate also can apply. Candidates with one year experience in Boiler Operation in a medium size industry shall be preferred.
